Daniel is a Clinical Psychologist who has been in private practice for forty years. ...

I’m All Hollowed Out is a poignant psychological novel by Port Elizabeth author Daniel Stigant that explores the invisible scars of emotional abuse. The story follows Jean, a woman struggling to reconcile the person she used to be with the "hollowed out" shell left behind by a marriage defined by subtle manipulation and doubt.

Through the lens of therapy, Jean begins the gruelling but courageous process of untangling her past. As she revisits dismissed memories, she slowly reclaims her voice and releases years of misplaced blame. Written with deep psychological authenticity, this 173-page story is a powerful exploration of trauma and the journey toward self-compassion and healing.

Advantages
Its like sitting with your own therapist.
Quick and easy to read. I was so engrossed because it literally explains everything. Had to reread bits more than once in some places. Will definitely give this to my friends who've been through similar to read
And its much much cheaper than therapy.
Please Mr Stigant, more of the same!
Disadvantages
None.
Comment
I'd give it 6 stars if I could. So different to the other two books but equally good!
This book really hit home for me. I saw so much of myself in it, and there were parts where I had to hold back the tears.
Nothing is sugarcoated and nothing in it suggests that healing is quick or easy.
But... In saying that, it did show that healing IS possible with time and the right tools.
Loved the book but especially appreciated the honesty in it.
