As, human beings, we seem to have forgotten who we are and who we once were. We are slowly eroding the essence of humanity. The African concept of Ubuntu, which was once our guiding light, is slowly fading away. Ubuntu stands for humaneness, compassion, dignity, unity, love, inner goodness, peace, love, and respect for self and those around us, love and respect for nature and utter respect for the Higher Being.

 This book's mandate is to take us back, right back to the life lessons we missed, and importantly to relearn the lessons we already got to learn but have over time, discarded, discounted, dismissed, and allowed to stagnate and lie dormant. My hope is that this book will set the wheels in motion towards the betterment of self. We begin again this journey of re-learning what we have always known but never internalised. It is about time.
