Hosted at 140a Kelvin Drive, this full-day session offers focused, hands-on guidance with limited capacity.

Cancellation & Punctuality Policy

We put a great deal of care into every session to ensure a high-quality experience for all participants. Each course is planned and prepared in advance based on confirmed bookings, so we kindly ask that all reservations are honoured with the same level of commitment.

Cancellations
5 days or more notice: Full refund. No charge.
Less than 5 days’ notice: A R500 late cancellation fee applies.

This helps cover costs already committed (venue, catering, materials, and preparation) and ensures fairness to others who may have wanted to attend.

Please note: This policy applies to all attendees. Even where a seat is offered at no cost or subsidised, it represents a real investment on our side, and we ask that it is treated accordingly.

An experience I recommend to all those who have written their book and now want to advertise it. This 1-day, intense course puts you in the spotlight with several written and spoken exercises to help you find your style and voice, and how to advertise effectively depending on how much time you have with your audience. You are forced to get out of your comfort zone, something that an introvert like me often struggles with. It also helps you use AI (ChatGPT to be more precise) to your benefit.
On top of the invaluable knowledge I acquired, I met amazing people and had a good time in general. Plus the food was delicious! Looking forward to the next one to check how much we have improved.

Excellent, hands-on course that concentrates on your 10, 20 and 30-second pitches, invaluable in engaging with readers and potential buyers. It was truly transformational. By the end of the day we could all see the vast improvement in our pitches. They also talk about social media, how to do videos, AI and how it can help you to schedule your media.
Disadvantages
Take note that this is interactive and you will be taken out of your comfort zone. Be prepared to be critiqued for your own good. An exhausting but fulfilling day.
